Hello to my avid YouTube “How to Make Money” students (and
others who found this site). Today is Day 18 of 30 in our quest to find the
right money making opportunity for us which suits us and our own individual
needs.
Because new viewers are showing up and reading my
articles, if you are new, let me explain that by going through a full 30 days
of watching videos you’ll get an overview of what’s available, and a good sense
of what’s good or not good for you. As a “student” it will take you 30 days of
more to go through many videos (30 times 10 is 300) but I think you’ll realize
the benefits of doing so when you find that in the long run you’ll save money
and headaches than by being impulsive; starting and stopping so many things
and learning by trial and error. The idea of my YouTube Classroom course is to
make fewer costly and timely mistakes. By keeping a journal with the links and
your personal rating per video, you can easily go back after 30 days to the
videos you found interesting and go forward with the one’s which seem more
promising. When I entered the search phrase “How to Make Money” YouTube offers:
“About 25,900,000 results”.
How can you make sense of them all? My YouTube Classroom Training Manual and
Course is the answer. It’s still free; for now.
I publish my video log (journal) which you are reading
entry for Day 18 as an example for how students can document their findings. I’ve
experienced some a great serendipity while publishing it. Non students, YouTubers
and creators of the rated video have appreciated my thoughts. I’ve created
relationships with many of the creators because I’ve sent more traffic to them!

really like this guy because he offer critiques, inspiration and consulting
type stuff that we all can learn from and use as bounce boards to create ideas

This is probably a great business opportunity. What’s great about this video is
that promotional techniques and marketing for one thing (such as this) and use
it to market anything else. He doesn’t share about this as an opportunity and a
“little” about marketing. For me and my needs this is a 3 of 5.

I watched this because it was up for less than 24 hours with no views. When I
opened the video I see that she has almost 800 views and a lot of commetns. She
shares about varagesale and it looks interesting. This is a real opportunity
video so I will look at this closer after the 30 days of this classroom

I’m not surprised that this person has a ton of subscribers because of how
professional it has been put together. It looks great (like a “movie”) but does
it offer practical money making stuff; let’s watch it a bit? I did a quick skim
of this video and have to applaud them on videography that is awesome, which
makes it tough to say anything “negative” but for me who is looking for
concrete ways to make money this video has way too much fluff unless I want to
become a movie producer. 1

forward and is actually a money making/opportunity video. I rate this: 8 out of 5.

This is a great “short” video and seems interesting. However, at first it was
unclear if I was buying this service, and later it became clear that I would be
learning and supplying this service. This isn’t for me I’m thinking, but I
think I would certainly promote this to others. Rated 5 of 5.

this is a good “basic” video and I’ll check it out further while doing
something else on the computer. 4 of 5 rating. It’s really well done and easy to watch.

This guy is giving away free software. This looks interesting and I will
definitely come back to this video and watch it more closely. This is exactly the
type of video I and my students look for. It’s tempting to say “yes” to and
click on his link and get started right away. However, by taking this 30 day
course I have made a commitment to watch and rate videos for a full 30 days. He
does use the marketing technique of placing “urgency” in his video and his
offer may or may not be available after my 30 day adventure. I can use this as
a motivation to get through my 30 days as quick as possible or give in to
impulse say “the heck with the 30 days” and miss out on the wisdom of waiting
until I have an overview of what to invest my time and money in. In my mind, I
will definitely return here and rate it 8 out of 5.
The 30 minute
alarm went off just as I was typing my thoughts on this last video. Time really
does go fast and I think I’ve found a few interesting videos which work nicely
with my interests and what I want to do. When you watch videos you may choose
to watch videos about making money with gaming, “as a teen” and those which are
posted by people who do not speak English”; that is what makes this YouTube
course fun and uniquely customized to each student. When I rate and comment on a
video take what you can use and move on.
If you’ve not
read my journal entries before, please note that they are not a “work of art”
when it comes to grammar etc. It is simply a place to hold my quick thoughts which
I will return and review after the 30 days are completed. My student’s journals
will most likely be even less constructed but I at least work to make this “readable”
so everyone gets something from it.
For those who
are reading this, regardless whether or not you are a “student” of the course,
